Rising demand for Lightyears tickets

The first batch of tickets for our next gig sold out in just a couple of days – but never fear, the promoters have released a load more so all you folks can get your grubby hands on one.

We’ll be at The Troubadour on Friday 24 July, a gig which heralds our return to the London scene.

Historically we tend to sell out this venue so it’s advisable to buy in advance. It should be a rocking night!  

In other news, beardy crooner Mr Ben Scriven has just been added to the bill – all the more reason to grace us with your presence. Also appearing are Matt Adey, The Beatroots and T Mandrake.

Lightyears at Goring Unplugged – this Friday

The Lightyears are playing their last gig of 2008 this Friday 12 December at Goring Unplugged, Oxfordshire’s foremost acoustic night.

Also appearing at GU’s Christmas Party are Ben Scriven, Jon Fletcher and up-and-coming singer-songwriter Lisa Winship. Expect festive hi-jinx and an acoustic  jamboree of sonic pleasures.

The LYs will be taking pre-orders for their forthcoming album “London, England” as well as selling copies of recent EP “At Midnight”.

Doors at 7.30pm; entry £3. GU has a habit of selling out so turn up early to avoid disappointment! Oh, and remember to bring your own drink – or you could even mull wine on the streets and spread boozy Christmas cheer to the townsfolk.
